Still in the Temple of Gold Caverns
Tara and Jaydin were bored and while everyone else slept, they went out investigating. They ran into a pig/lion type of creature and killed it, though it put up quite a battle. When they were done, Tara chopped it up for the meat and the hide. Certain animal hide was good to use, this was one of them. Back at the room they used for their camp, they got a fire going, cooking the meat the same as before; a rock in the fire. Cooking the meat, though bland, it made it easier for them to grab a quick bite while on the move. Once all that was done, they did just that. The cavern walls narrowed and widened randomly, which at times would make it hard to seem to move about, then other times making it more than easy to waltz about to do what one wished. They suddenly began to suspect that they were not in the same area, but how was that possible? More doors with mysterious objects in them. Where the hell were they? Then they ran into a giant leech from hell and her little leech babies in icy waters. However, when they kill mama, now they have to deal with two man-eating plants while trying to stay standing on ice! Once the plants were dead, and some of the party really injured, the rocks moved, the water drained, a hole in the wall opened up and the walls started to close. Jaydin pretty much shoved everyone out of harm, diving through the hole in record timing, but now they were sliding down a chute just to slam into a wall on the bottom as they all piled into each other. There was a huge gaping home in the wall and when they jumped down, they were finally back in the forest!
