Brimstone Realm - Fight Club!
Ranks & Matches XP
Experience is what's gained when participating in spars, adventures, and anything that is class/job related that involves strength. After all, that is what your dice are; your character's strength. Cash will be awarded as well and that is what your character sees. He/she isn't so much worried about the XPs as he/she doesn't know about that. They only see the cash they will get.
It is highly suggested that you always log your matches as well as have a backup logger for safe keeping. There were a few times, after a match where the logger lost, that he/she conveniently lost the log. Should that happen, you are covered. However, if you log, you are to send it to everyone involved. Failure to do so could result in a fine. Granted, if someone says, "I got it," then you're fine. I would suggest that everyone logs their own matches, and takes the points for logging too, regardless to who else logs. I don't care if there are 20 people with Log on; it makes it easier then losing logs, kills two birds with one stone.
Proctors
It's the job of the proctor to be the eyes of the match. The proctor is to keep accurate score and keep control of a match. All the proctor needs to do is add and subtract. However, if the competitors do not put down an OOC string so he/she knows what to expect, the skill/spell you use is null and void for that round.
When skills/spells are used, the proctor must make sure to only subtract for defense, or add for positive when it's stated per move. It must be stated before they roll for damage, along with the skill/spell, level, as well as the dice. You must also ensure that they are only using the strengths that they stated.
You need to state everything in the opening OoC so that it's all there.
DATE AND TIME BETTER BE THERE!!
As per all other rules, OoC is forbidden, except for proctoring and clarification. Any OoC that is logged in a room that is unneeded will be dealt with severely. If others are going OoC, like so many like to do, immediately ignore them. Do not warn them, do not threaten them, just ignore them and do not respond. Send the log, if you are not a logger, and they will be dealt with as well. It has been our experience that those talking OoC when ignored will go away. Do not fuel them further by arguing with them OoC for you will be the one to get in trouble. Keep OoC where it belongs, in IM's.
They are fun to do for training purposes. However, when everyone avoids, the log gets very lengthy. This will be the only time that your character pretty much plays 'who hits harder' and takes it. However, you get points for the win or loss per person in the Mass Spars.spar. Remember, it's by their dice, not yours.
