Welcome to Brimstone

Welcome to Brimstone. The place where many legends and rumors have started. Then again, isn't that what a legend is? A rumor stretched out to magnanimous portions until it's considered a legend. Rumors spread through the countryside about Brimstone. Some even say it's a dark and evil place where monsters live. Some even claim that it sits on hell and everyone within are the guardians of the gates. Others say it's nothing but a place where those that are too good for others gather. However, the truth lies somewhere between, hidden within the layers of the gossip.

After the death of her parents, just like any other frightened young girl, she fled the countryside. The man who killed them, burned down the kingdom, leaving nothing but smoldering ashes in his exit. She needed to regroup, think over her options; decide what she wanted to do. It only took a few months for her to break a few laws and return to Brimstone.

Now she was back with a vengeance with two goals in mind. She needed to rebuild Brimstone once more. The lands were still black with the ashes of what once was, except for the castle. It was recreated, stronger than before, with a whole wing donated to those who will join her in Brimstone. Many had returned and took up their place within the castle as the staff. The barracks were created for the royal army and they have their own recruiting techniques. Her other goal might take a little longer. She is going to find the man who murdered her parents and serve him up a heavy dose of bloody revenge.

Just inside the entrance, they noticed a peculiar, horrific sight. Deep crimson blood dripped off the leaves of the hedges, as if it was part of the morning dew, soaking up the ground with protein and nutrients caused by the rain itself. Flesh lay in shards on the ground, torn apart by what or who they had no clue. The body parts were not distinguishable and he was thankful for that small blessing in disguise. The entire area was stained red from blood.

Deva, Tara, Misty, and Lana were the first. They headed out to investigate what was killing the animals in the forest. While investigating, they were attacked by rats the size of huge wolves. Afterward, they met Jaydin and Faith. Deva told them this all could be because of a nasty, powerful wizard named Iazul.

They went back to the castle for the night, making plans to start again the next day.
